MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS IN GAMBLING.

The aim of this paper is a theoritical review about gambler mind, from an integrated point of view, in order to establish a new cognitive analysis based on motivational factors.
To deep in this labour, the authors attend to the most contemporaneous expectancy-value models, nowadays considered as a basic paradigm in psychological field.
A valorative component, including task-value aspects, and an expectation component, formed by different motivational structures linked to the estimation of results or personal aspects that may influence, were proposed.
With this proposal, they pretend to contribute to understanding the nature and functionality of cognitive process of gamblers, tracing a link between them to facilitate future developments.
